To hopefully add to the competition for the year, and get bikes in the appropriate classes, I propose letting older, carburated bikes drop DOWN one class. Here are some examples....
Lightweight class (normally 600s) carbureted 900 and 750s such as GSXR 750, ZX-7Rs, YZF-750s, CBR900RRs, ZX-9Rs, etc.
Middleweight class (normally FI 750s and 900s) carbureted 1000s such as FZR 1000s, YZF-1000s, early R1s, etc.
Heavyweight class (normally FI 1000s) ZX-11s, carbed CBR1100XXs, etc.
You get the picture.
If these bikes added forced induction, they would be put up a class, just like the rest of the bikes.
Opinions?

This year was pretty good....without too many runaway winner in the classes. So fire away with any ideas/opinions.
