I used to be able to listen to music on my laptop all the way to my grandpas house in Park Rapids and still had plenty of power left over. Over Easter the damn thing said "Battery extremely low, save data or risk losing it" blah blah and went into hibernate mode and wouldn't stay on for more than 10 seconds after that.

I've been watching my battery's usage today and it sucks balls...the computer isn't even a year old yet.

It's gotten a little better now that I've been draining the battery, recharging, redraining, recharging again lately but it still doesn't last very long at all...POS

I only use my battery whenever I'm at school, otherwise it's always plugged in at home. Ideally, you are suppose to charge the battery only when its almost empty. Same concept with cellphone's batteries.

Most modern laptops will not continue to charge the battery after its fully charged.... They simply switch to AC Power.

Think of a UPS... same concept.

well mine was about a year and a half old and barely lasts a half hour.
