Fix stuff for a few hours, wash the car and load it up on the trailer and bring every tool you have.. - its a dsm-

When we get to the track we were having batt/alternator problems thanks to matt for the generator to charge it..

In the tech line we were told DO NOT RUN FASTER THAN 11.5 ! Im thinking to me self ya ok... We didnt have a fire jacket, cage finished, scatter shield, engine blanket or battery cut-off switch.. I had no clue how fast it would run since I hadnt driven the car more than 1 mile..

Boost was set at wastegate boost 20-22psi

First pass: went 12.2 @ 126.3 W/a 2.0 60 foot. car lauched in 3rd gear and stayed in 3rd the whole way down. So I knew it would break that 11.5 with a good pass.

2nd pass: 11.3 @ 123.5 1.6 60 foot

3rd pass. 11.06 @ 127.58 1.61 60 foot

4th pass 10.96 @ 128.53 1.57 60 foot

jeremy now takes over

5th pass 12.1 @ 114 bad launch bad shifting due to not ever driving it.

6th pass 11.24 @ 122 1.58 60 foot just short shifted other wise great pass.

Jeremy and I just want to say thanks to Straight Line Specialties and IPT for some awesome parts!!!

No problemo. Too bad I never got a chance to actually tune it...instead of just getting it running and idling basically, haha. I wish I could have been there to see it!! Congrats.

Just as a side note....(not trying to jack the thread, just for information).....from what I've been told by Tim Toso....if he techs you for a certain e.t., and you go quicker than that more than once, and a crash(or something like that) happened, the track could be fined for letting you make that pass.

Every pass is data logged for the NHRA. I'm surprised that they didn't say anything to you. Must not have been watching very closely....or....test n tune isn't a "sanctioned NHRA event", so they don't care.

So yeah, they do care.

BTW, great passes guys.
