Just recently recieved my new radiator, mbc, BOV etc.., and I have been trying to find an FMU that will work for a car that uses MAS instead of MAP. I would love to go with an SAFCII like all you DSMersout there, but I have been informed I can't use one with my car. Pin, Iread what you said in regards to this on Probetalk boht times, but I wanted to see what everyone else said about it. I have heard Greddy EManage is good, but have been looking around and it is a little more than I want to spend. Any help is appreciated.

I used a Holley Rising rate FMU. You could always use a regular fpr to control base fuel pressure and then use the rising rate fmu to tweak the boost fuel needs. I haven't had that setup in a while though. Your right in that your really limited to what you can use with the stock MAF. The probe ecu processor is really slow too.

A LOT of people just go with an FMU and an adjustable FPR.
Are you talking about probe people? what FMU works?

The air flow meter outputs a signal that is backwards of most meters. I've heard rumors of the GReddy e-Manage working on those cars, but I've never heard of anyone actually installing and making one work. I believe your options(if you want to avoid an FMU) include an ECU chip or installing a standalone fuel computer. InjectTech has been offering a chip and Megasquirt is currently the bandwagon choice of standalone computers for Probes. I've yet to see any 1st-gen GT's running a Megasquirt though.

Changing your fuel should be easy - can you confirm what car\motor it is? You can change the fuel w/o getting rid of the MAF, just intercept the signal to\from the ECU with and SAFC or something like that...

Matt will be tough to get a hold of, he's got his hands full w/ his new project...

Are you looking to go from mass air to speed density and then adjusting your fuel?

Or are you looking to adjust your fuel only?

This is on a turbo probe? Have you talked to Fallguy?
