True, never looked at it that way, I guess it comes down to metric mm being smaller increments than inches therefore being more accurate. A 289 and 300 is a 4.9 and a 302, 305, 307 are all 5.0's whether it's GM, Ford, Chrysler etc. A 350 is a 5.7 a 351 is a 5.8 and 360 is a 5.9.</p>
