I angle grind, sand, rust destroy, rust convert, and then duplicolor spraypaint it every fall just so it's semi presentable over winter. $400 cars FTW

We have this new laquer stuff call the paint shop, its made by duplicolor and is supposed to be easier and almost as cheap as that.

He prepped/wetsanded the surface between coats and seemed to have a well smoothed body prior. He definately spent alot of time making sure we wouldn't have to spend money. I agree that it does look good from the pics. I would still like to see it in person though. Pics can hide alot. As thrifty (cheap) as I can be...... There's just no way I would do what he did. Sometimes time is worth the extra money. At least to me.
