OPTION 1The parking brake bypass procedure is as follows:

1: Go into AM/FM mode
2: Hit "setup" on the remote control
3: Enter 543210 on the remote, listening for the beep for each number entered
4: A new menu will appear. Touch the button that has the hammer/screwdriver on it in the upper left-hand part of the screen.
5: Select Brake bypass to "ON" and hit the "X" near the bottom of the screen.
6: Use the unit wisely and above all safely. A ticket is one thing, causing a fatal accident due to negligence is another

Option 2:

Once you have everything hooked up pop in a dvd and when it starts playing do the following

Take the pink parking break wire and touch it to ground for 2 seconds, then remove it from ground for 2 seconds, then put it back on ground if at this time the screen starts showing the movie then keep it grounded, if not try to remove for 2 seconds again and then back to ground, you might have to ground/unground for 2 times or 3, ok now that you are grounded and the movie is showing use the remote and hit ( stop, stop, 1264) this should bring up a menu and one of the options in that menu will say something about the parking break bypass. if it is off turn it on if its on turn it off. I cant remember which one it is set at so which ever its on when you see that menu turn it to the opposite

wait for a few seconds and the menu should go away if not just hit tuner or tv or one of those buttons of the head unit

you should now be able to unground it and not even worry about that parking braek wire and everything is good to go

That depends on which unit you get. Some just need to have the e-brake wire grounded out, some need to see a certain sequence of the brake pedal and parking brake. There are ways around all of it.
