Only problem is, Best Buy seems like the only place that has 0% financing for a fairly long period of time but they also rape you on the price ($1100), I could get the TV online for ~$850-900 but would have to pay it all right away.

Anybody got any other recommendations as far as brands that would be on par with the picture quality of the 3253H but not be a POS TV? I know some of the lower end TV's have fairly good displays but off brands kinda scare me (Westinghouse any good? Vizio?) What would you guys recommend to me as far as TV's that might be more affordable but still have good quality and wont crap out on me after a year...

Stipulations:
HAS to be 32"
HAS to be 720p (no 1080p TV is in my price range right now nor do I care that much)
HAS to be under $1000, preferably closer to $700ish

I have a friend that works in the TV department of Best Buy so I'll be talking to him to see if he's willing to buy it with his employee discount and then I could pay him a decent commission but I have a feeling he won't go for that.

The main reason I wanted it was for the 360 and since I have one that doesn't have HDMI (only HD Components :/) it wasn't worth it for the extra bucks. Still better than the old TV I was using...found it on the curb during spring cleanup. 26" Tube that worked just fine but the hor/vert alignments were off so the person thought it was broke. Sucks for them, worked great for me for the past 2 years!

Picked it up from NewEgg for 999$. I absolutley LOVE it. The model that I have is the LT42HVI. Beautiful case, amazing picture, boat loads of inputs. All in all, I don't think you can find a better TV for the price. And almost all of the reviews that I've read [and believe me, I've read about 80-90 reviews before I bought] are 4-5 stars. There was a few bad reviews, but there are going to be a few lemons in the bunch, that can never be avoided. One bad review that sticks out in my mind is a guy that bought it to use SPECIFICALLY for a computer monitor, and he complained that the resolution wasn't good enough, and that the interface between the two wasn't very good....ummmm last time I checked, yea it has a VGA input, but it's not designed to be only used for that.

32's - 37's are going on Newegg for around 500-800 bucks. I know you said you didn't really wanna pay for it all at once, but hey, figgered I'd throw a bit about my TV in there.

The one single very common, reoccuring complaint about the TV is the remote blows. I thought when I bought it, well it can't be THAT bad.....Well, It IS. It sucks. But if that's the only down side that I have to put up with, I'll be a happy guy.

I've had my TV since Dec, and it has never once hiccuped, or had any problem whatsoever.

They are kinda heavy, mine weighs in at just over 100lbs, but that's largly do to the large piece of glass that covers the entire TV to protect it and make it easier to clean.
