<![CDATA[Semi overturned on i29 southbound]]>Some retard flipped his semi onto the side on i29 southbound right at the i94 overpass. I have no idea how he did it, it was a flatbed. Traffic is stopped and being re-routed onto i94 either direction. I saw FOX news was out there when I left best buy as well.

Right and right. Just more people get caught in SD due to the Highway patrol and DOT officials not getting laid. It maybe just out of state trucks but we get a lot of BS tickets in SD. I guess somebody has to make up for their tax system. Just this week we got a ticket for an imaginary nail in a tire that was still holding 100% of it's air, and a ticket for no brake lights on a trailer but when the driver blocked the brake pedal down and went back to check, they magically started working again. Still got a ticket though:icon_scratch: End mini rant.

You can haul anything with the right permit. You're right most over the road trucking is 80,000 though.

I didn't mean that the rain was the cause but it wasn't perfect road conditions by any means. I figured he took the turn too sharp and the rear just came out from behind him, never saw the news or what the actual reason was.

fox's explination makes sense. Very possible the load shifted on him coming around the on-ramp and it just took the truck over with it.
