<p dir="auto">and were wondering if the town actually existed or if there was a similiar town in which its based off of?  I tried searching the web but couldn't uncover anything...</p>

I also liked the movie, wasn't perfect, but they did what they could with the time alloted.  IMO it should have been a wayy longer movie, a series of movies maybe.</p>

The way I understand it, the mom and daughter died in the car crash in the beginning and for the main part of the movie they're in some sort of hell or purgatory? Then at the end they go home and they're there in spirit but not physically since they're dead?</p>
