<![CDATA[Quick Question]]>Alright. I have been considering getting a sport bike for awhile now because it would be easy on gas and I could ride it now. Ok I am really short, about 5' 5" and I was wondering if you could lower the stance on a sport bike so I would be able to touch flat with both feet. I have sat on a couple of my buddies bikes and I cannot do it. lol. I know there must be someone in the FM area that is having the same problem as me. LMK because I am really considering buying a sport bike very soon.

i have a 2006 gsxr 600 and i lowered it 3 inches and it handles just the same to me. i think it also looks bad ass slammed. im selling it for 5500 if interested in buying a bike still. its been laid down on both sides but i can get all new plastics for 260 bux. its an all around great starter bike aspecially for someone as short as you and i. im 5'5" also and i can flat foot on it now. there are a couple down sides tho. dont let any fattys on the back. the suspension needs to be tightened, and the bike has 10000 miles. ive seen almost 3 times that on these things anyways. ive changed the oil every 2000 miles and the thing gets great gas mileage. ill also throw in a slider kit i paid 165 for. that includes frame sliders, swingarm spools and bar ends. let me know if you wanna come see it or take it for a spin. 866-7667. its my gfs phone cuz mine shit out last weekend. ask for bryan.

I suppose your gonna buy a used one? Go dealership to dealership and just sit on bikes, then a used one. You can also always get the trusty old ninja 500, that bike has been around for 15 years.

They have less of a reach to the handle bars than most bikes. Also lower it, get used to stopping on one foot, then raise it up back to stock. Lowerd bikes handle like shit and are ugly as hell.
