Other than the bigger hills it pulls great though.  I think Colorado's are rated lower for towing, so a trailer with a car would be pushing it hard.   An aluminum trailer would be nice...but they are spendy.  If I need to do one-way tows I usually just rent a dolly from U-Haul. <p dir="auto">the colorado has no problem with a car on a doly. we got 17mpg doing 55 toing one of my 240s back from the cities on H10. I also have my jeep to tow with after i get a tranny cooler in it.</p>

I know that the 25 footer I pulled up here a couple of times is 4,000lbs empty.  Our Expedition did very well with the trailer and my Explorer in the trailer, but I don't think a Colorado could have pulled that thing empty.</p>

They give good deals for the weekend and it's a nice lightweight tilt bed.</p>
