<![CDATA[Car trailer]]>Not looking for a inclosed. Lighter the better and lower the better. Doesnt need to be over 18ft. well only be used for towing cars, so don't need anything really heavy duty.

We are probably looking to rent/borrow a tow dolly or trailer this weekend or next

Other than the bigger hills it pulls great though. I think Colorado's are rated lower for towing, so a trailer with a car would be pushing it hard. An aluminum trailer would be nice...but they are spendy. If I need to do one-way tows I usually just rent a dolly from U-Haul. Tell your dad he needs a bigger truck! 🙂

the colorado has no problem with a car on a doly. we got 17mpg doing 55 toing one of my 240s back from the cities on H10. I also have my jeep to tow with after i get a tranny cooler in it.

I know that the 25 footer I pulled up here a couple of times is 4,000lbs empty. Our Expedition did very well with the trailer and my Explorer in the trailer, but I don't think a Colorado could have pulled that thing empty.

They give good deals for the weekend and it's a nice lightweight tilt bed.
