Just basically looking for sealant and wax I think. No need to polish it, just need to get something on the paint to protect it. Do have some contaminate on the roof and a little on the hood that I haven't been able to get off yet (scrubbed and clayed but no luck).

Typically how far in advance does someone have to make an apointment?

Also, do you guys have any tricks for washing the engine bay on a later model chevy? Mine could really use a good cleaning but I'm worried about issues with water sitting in the valley around the knock sensor (talking to some guys and that'll corrode the sensor). I'd consider having you guys do that too if you can quell the fears of having to tear into the top end and replace that.
