<![CDATA[1998 Lexus GS300]]>Time has come for me to sell this, and I'm a little sad about it, but I have other ideas that I want to pursue. It has 146K miles on it. Here's some of the good:
Power everything: both front seats, locks, windows, mirrors, power tilt and telescoping steering wheel, sunroof
Traction control
Vehicle skid control
Heated seats
Tires only have a few thousand miles on them.
Windshield is new
New front passenger's door lock actuator
New accelerator pedal position sensor
It's extremely comfortable
Very quiet, no rattling or squeaking
Interior is in excellent shape
Comes with a remote starter
Windows professionally tinted (by me) rears are 20%, front roll downs and windshield all 50%
Hood bra goes with the car
Doesn't burn any oil at all
Engine and tranny are both smooth as can be
Heat and AC both work amazingly well
Gas mileage is around 19-20 in town and abot 25 on the highway at 80mph.

The bad:
Front brake rotors should probably be replaced
Lots of rock chips on the front of the car
Trunk lid had been repainted before I got it, and doesn't match perfect, plus some of the clear coat is peeling off
The car was recently damaged in the big hail storm here. Estimated about $2000 or so in damage.
There's an exhaust rattle at idle, I'll check that out next time I change oil.

So realistically, if someone were to put the money into the body of this car, it would easily be worth retail value, which on NADA's website would be about $12,400. I'm gonna start by asking $8000 OBO. Here's some pics from earlier this summer (no hail damage pics yet).

Look up the book value for this car. If someone bought it for $8k, put $2-3k into fixing the hail damage and paint, the car is easily worth $12k. For $5k I'll keep it and drive it, its a great car.
