In a straight line yes, but all the previous comparos i've read i'm pretty sure the evo was faster around actual tracks with turns in them haha.

Anyhow, the new sti looks like raw unmitigated ass, and the evo looks way better in my opinion, so i'd still get an evo if i had a choice...
