This oil is completely different than any other oil on the market. The smell is similar to brake fluid, the viscosity is just a bit thicker than water, and the potential gains are unmatched by any 'synthetic oil'. This will beat out any other oil on the market, including our own Royal Purple line (which already proved to last longer than Mobil 1, Castrol, etc...). We just received our opening order of this oil, and are very excited to bring this into our tintmasters locations (currently only available in our Fargo shop). No matter what vehicle, either the 0w-20 or 0w-50 will have you covered. 90% of the vehicles around here will only need the 0w-20, however for the higher hp guys the 0w-50 will be the way to go. I would really like to see Dave or Faul try this stuff out and see the gains. Here is a bit of information about ENEOS, and if anyone would like to come look/smell/touch the oil, please stop into the Fargo location. I assure that this is the best of the best in the oil industry. Pricing isn't set in stone but 0w-20 will be around the $10-$12/qt and the 0w-50 will be a bit more.

Keep in mind, any vehicle (Evo for examply) that recommends the use of Mobil 1 or any other synthetic oil can use this product and still retain warranty. That was one of the questions we asked while at SEMA and the ENEOS rep said there oil will not only meet the requirements of Mobil 1 (or whatever), but exceed them significantly. (See number "8." below for more information on this subject)

Any questions please let us know!

Here is some helpful information from www.eneos.us

Can you use synthetic oil if you are currently using conventional motor oil?
Yes. In older vehicles (12+ years old), certain cars may develop leak when switched to a synthetic motor oil. However, with the wide spread usage of synthetic oil in today’s market, synthetic oils as well as engine components are compatible with both synthetic and conventional motor oil. You can switch back and forth and even blend them without causing and damages.

How is ENEOS different from all the other brands? What is the advantage of ENEOS 0W-20 and 0W-50?
With more than 120 years of experience in the oil industry, Nippon Oil, the manufacturer of ENEOS products are amongst the top oil companies in the world. With the collaboration it has with numerous major Japanese car companies, Nippon Oil has the know-how and experience to formulate top quality motor oil for both Japanese and other vehicles alike.

ENEOS products are formulated for individuals that care about their motor vehicles. ENEOS products does not generalize consumers as a whole, but instead targets the specific need for individual driver. ENEOS 0W-20 is formulated for individuals that are looking for to reduce fuel consumption and C02 emissions as well as achieving higher fuel efficiency. The quality 0W-20 offers make this an exceptional eco-friendly product.

When high-output cars with large engine displacements are driven for long periods at high temperatures and heavy loads, they demand the outstanding heat resistance and oxidation stability that only fully synthetic motor oils can provide. ENEOS motor oil is made from 100% synthetic oil, it has an ultra-wide 0W-50 viscosity range that ensures superb starting performance even at the coldest winter temperatures as well as excellent oil film retention in the hottest summer conditions.

Outstanding High-Temperature Oxidation
Made from a carefully engineered blend of 100% synthetic base oils and optimized additives, ENEOS 0W-50 provides high-temperature oxidation stability vastly superior to motor oils made from mineral base oils. ENEOS 0W-50 also has outstanding coking resistance, an essential property for protecting turbo rotors operated at high temperatures and speeds.

Superior Drive-Train Wear Resistance and Excellent Cleanliness
The synthetic base featured in ENEOS 0W-50 allows it to maintain a strong oil film even at high temperatures, speeds and loads. This anti-wear protection is particularly effective in the drive trains of overhead cam systems, where lubrication conditions are especially challenging. In addition, ENEOS 0W-50 delivers superb thermal and oxidation stability, so it maintains excellent engine cleanliness by suppressing sludge formation, which can cause engine seizures and pump clogging.

How do I know which product variation to use in my car?
Reference your vehicle’s owners manual for the recommended motor oil and select the matching viscosity grade from the ENEOS product line. Even if you do not find a corresponding ENEOS product to your recommended viscosity grade, you can still contact your local dealer or us directly for a recommendation best suited for your vehicle and usage.

How often should I change my ENEOS oil?
Oil change intervals will depend on your driving habit and type of vehicle. If you do a lot of “hard” driving, city driving or low speed/low frequency driving, we recommend oil changes at 3000 miles interval. ENEOS motor oil can last a minimum of 10,000 miles, but due to engine containments and byproducts, we recommend a more frequent change interval for the optimal protection. Vehicles that are driven more lightly, or see majority of highway driving can go to intervals of 15,000 miles plus. We still do suggest a routine check up of the condition of the oil every 3000 to 5000 miles or so to ensure optimal protection.

Is a special oil filter required to use ENEOS Oils?
No, a special oil filter is not required. Simple use the factory recommended filter or a reputable after market brand.

Should I flush my engine or driveline before using ENEOS Fully synthetic lubricants?
An engine or driveline flush is not necessary to change to ENEOS motor oil. ENEOS products are compatible will all other synthetic or petroleum motor oil, therefore flushing is not required.

Where can I buy ENEOS products?
Tintmasters

Will using ENEOS products void my vehicle’s factory warranty?
ENEOS products are all API and SAE approved with the latest certifications. Using the correct application of ENEOS product will not void your vehicle’s factory warranty.

Why is ENEOS bottle so special?
ENEOS bottles are manufactured using a patented method. It is a double layer construction that protects its contents from contaminates, stiff exterior for ultimate ergonomics, and special bottle shape to eliminate spilling. Also the indention on the bottle prevents labels from rubbing off against each other or other products.

That is one of the small benefits of running the best of the best motor oil. I would look more into the lubrication, applications, history, current usage (and whom), and the design differences from any other oil. Once you find the differences, research how the differences may be beneficial to you and your vehicles. I wouldn't continue to focus on the HP gains, but rather look more into increasing the efficiency of your motor, and what that can do for you in all aspects of owning/operating a motor vehicle.

I would love for you to bring some Amsoil 0w-50, only problem is, Amsoil along with everyone else doesn't have the technology to produce a Fully Synthetic 0w-50. You could bring in a 0w-30 and compare with ENEOS's 0w-20. Of course I work for a business, and am trying to sell something, which will put everyone on their heals when I preach about it. I don't know every specific about the oil, however I can obtain particular information for WHY ENEOS is better than any other oil on the market. Amsoil add's Zinc's and other unnecessary additives that cause it to loose it's lubrication. One major point I can add, is that in any oil test you will never see ENEOS's name, as it outperforms each and every one. ENEOS has been in the U.S. and A. for a long time, just not marketed through shops. It was marketed through dealerships as private Toyota/Mitsubishi/etc.. labels. Remember, the oil that many Japanese companies trust as their 'break in' oil for the production plant, is ENEOS.

When you buy any brand new car from Toyota for example, it comes with Toyota's Fully Synthetic oil (read the fine print on the label and it reads ENEOS) This is the stuff that is put in cars at the manufacturing plant to break in motors (in many cases, not all company's choose to use fully synthetic).

I'll defineatly have to give it a try, anything to keep the old honda running smoothly past 200k.

Sounds like a very good product Jason. I don't think its a secret where my loyalties in oil lie, but I do believe this is a quality product. Have there been any independent studies done to see how well this compares to others such as Royal Purple, Amsoil, Mobile One, etc? I ask because these are essentially the same claims that everyone in the industry makes, and while I don't doubt that this is a fine oil, I just like a bit more than the bullet points off the sell sheet.

Having said that, I will probably giving it a try this spring in my suby.

There is much to be discussed on this oil, and I would love to talk more indepth about it in person. It doesn't compare to any other oil, because it isn't built the same as the others. It is the only FULLY/TRULY/NOT KINDA/NOT SORTA synthetic oil on the market.

Stop into the shop and smell it, rub it, and look at it's viscosity. You will agree there are 'synthetic' oils (all look, smell, flow nearly the same) and there is ENEOS.

And although I see your standpoint, please show me where any other oil claims to be "Fully Synthetic" on the face of the label in bold lettering. Here's ENEOS's http://www.eneos.us/images/SAE-0W-50-1small.jpg

All of this "seriousness" from the guy that just typed "Mobile One". j/k
