I fill CO2 at Scheels and when You dump a really full bottle the cans get extremely cold. You can't even touch them or you'll get frost bite... so I bet if you could figure out a way to unleash an full tank onto the heated dent you'd get some pretty extreme temp changes which is what you want.

Yeah we used to do that all the time when we were younger. Had a few VERY close calls though...one bottle blew up in my hands about a foot from my face.

We filled a 2 liter and put a camera on it to record the explosion, it took forever but when it blew up you could feel it in the house 50 feet away, all the ornaments on the windows were shaking too.

My big dents in my rear 1/4 got a little bit smaller. Don't know if it will pop out again after i put the car down and drive it. 2 others got a bit smaller but still there. In true mythbusters style I will be taking it to the next level today. I have some junk body panels and ill make some large dents and try it.

Also, lots of dry ice to play with!

I'm guessing dry ice would work pretty good, just a little hard to get your hands on some. If you have access to a CO2 fire extenguisher that you or somebody does mind parting with you can make a small amount of your own.
