Ron Paul's views are constitutional

As the North Dakota caucus nears, everyone should be educated on all of the candidates before the day. I encourage everyone to take a look at Ron Paul. His views may sound "off the wall" to many, however, if his ideas for change are nothing more than what the Constitution set in place for us. Paul has what it takes to be the next president. I encourage everyone to visit his site to educate themselves before the North Dakota caucus on Feb. 5. Here are a few Paul facts:

He has never voted to raise taxes.

He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.

He has never voted to raise congressional pay.

He has never taken a government-paid junket.

He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.

He has repeatedly been named the "Taxpayers Best Friend" in Congress.
Please, North Dakota, know all of the candidates before you vote Feb. 5.

I've found myself suddenly into politics because of Ron Paul. I'm in a meetup group, I'm signing up as a delegate, I'm a freaking district coordinator - and I've hated the entire "political scene" for as long as I've known there was one. Suddenly I have a candidate running with morals who I have a chance to vote for.... this is no "lesser of two evils." this is no "well, better than so-and-so."

this is "HOLY SHIT, SOMEBODY IN POLITICS ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT THE COUNTRY AND EVERYBODY IN IT AND ISN'T TRYING TO LINE THEIR OWN POCKETS WITH MY MONEY, MY FREEDOM, AND MY FUTURE ----WHAT CAN I DO TO HELP?"

If the media weren't purposely keeping Ron Paul off to the side, trying to keep him out of the picture-- if the media didn't edit him out-- I think a lot more people would understand, and would feel just as 'woken up' as I do -- as a lot of people do --

Looking at the demographic at the Republican Party meeting last night, I was hugely aware of the age gap.. lots of people 40, 50, 60+.. and lots of people 20-30 years old. lots of people who suddenly care because they suddenly realize they can make a difference.

Yeah, I'm ranting.. great.. stop paying attention to me if you want. I see a lot of candidates running on a platform of "Change". Obama is running on Change. Hillary is running on Change. I watched them "debating" each other, it was a damn catfight. The only change I see from them is "Change from Republican to Democrat, get the same bull, the same run-around that you get right now."

The ONLY "Change" FOR THE BETTER I can see coming from this race is from Ron Paul.

The ONLY way to help make a change is to get involved.

This is because Guliani put EVERYTHING he had into Florida...Florida was a get 1st or drop out for Guliani because if he can't win there, he can't win anywhere...we might as well just call him a democrat anyway.

Also, I hope hilary gets the nomination on the democratic side because it is my firm belief that she is unelectable to most Americans...i think obama has a better chance nationally than she does any day.

BTW, i'd totally be up for having a small meetup somewhere @ 10-1030am on feb. 4th in preparation for ron paul comin...kinda like whats happening for the caucus, however, i cant make it to that one...i have class til 615

As long as Ron Paul is an option I will vote/push/support him. I don't care if he receives 0 votes or wins the individual caucus/primary.

Comparing Guiliani to Ron Paul in Florida is like comparing concrete to prostitutes. Guiliani campaigned in Florida for ~3 weeks, his investment in Florida is estimated at 30 million dollars ($30,000,000). I am not one to sit and make excuses for why Ron Paul isn't winning, but as the long shot, would you invest much into a state when someone else is investing nearly 15 times the amount you are? Especially when they are on the verge of a bankrupt campaign? Giuliani beat Ron Paul in Florida, but ended up throwing in the towel after the votes were tallied...so did Ron Paul really lose?

Ron Paul's second place finishes in the past few weeks is proof enough that he isn't over. Giuliani beat him ONCE and it was in the state Giuliani felt he NEEDED to win.

The writing on the wall for Ron Paul will be when the money stops coming in (don't hold your breath), and his followers stop pushing for his success. He is behind, but there is nothing guaranteed with the Republican party yet.

Mostly he hasn't said one way or the other how he views things, he just talks about how he will make things "better". Don't get me wrong, thats a lot of what most politicians do, but Obama seems to be getting a pass on that more than most at this point.

I think the US would easily vote in a black man or a woman. I know I would as long as they are representative of what I think.

Guiliani is supposed to withdraw and endorse McCain in the next few days, and Huckabee is broke and after Super Tuesday if he doesn't do anything he will more than likely withdraw. Edwards is also either in the process of withdrawing or withdrawn. So after Super Tuesday the candidates will more than likely look like this:

Republicans:
John McCain
Mitt Romney
Ron Paul

Democrats:
Hilarious Clinton
Barack Obama

Personally, I don't think America will vote a woman or an African American into office.... Not that I have anything against either, but when election day comes, many critics agree that it will be surprising to see either of the Democrats win. I know that people in America will vote for their party (in most cases) and Democrats will have to choose one or the other...I just don't think it will happen....Yes I have seen the amount of votes both Hilary and Barack have received, but I still don't see it happening in today's America. Ron Paul thus far in the Republican race hasn't done much with votes, but he HAS made a lot of progress over the past month. Will it be enough to make an impact? I guess we will all see when California, Texas, and New York along with the other Super Tuesday states vote. I know that I personally do not want to see either Romney or McCain win, and agree that Obama is next best option to Ron Paul...But will an African American be able to make it into the White House.......

Perhaps, but until the election is held it is in the best interest of whoever you are supporting to get out there and participate. Paul has more than one option in this thing. He can continue to try and run as a Republican or, he can break away and run as a Libertarian, OR he can run as both. If he runs as a Libertarian (who he is endorsed by) he can automatically be registered in every state (I forget the wording, but because they are an established party they have the ability to put people on the ballots w/o the need to petition).
