We had Polaris at the fairgrounds and we beat the crap out of them, held up pretty good but just not as fun as a wolverine or a raptor. Wolverine can work pretty hard from what I have heard, never tried though.

Sportsman which is a very nice 4 wheeler, only thing is that it's really heavy, so a couple words of advice, don't get it stuck.....NOT FUN...Believe me! He also just purchased a Yamaha Grizzly 700 which is about half the weight of the Polaris and it has quite a bit of power. It all depends on what your looking for a 4 wheeler for. Trails, work. If you want something comfortable but still fun I would get something a little newer with better suspension. My dad traded in his old yamaha 400 which was a 5 spd manual because the suspension was horrible. The one thing fun about that was the acceleration with the manual, but it is way better to not have to worry about shifting especially when your in some rought terrain or deep snow!

Good luck with whatever you choose, either way you go, you should have a lot of fun with them! I know I do!

kylush: would love a raptor or outlaw or any other quad, but need something for farm work, something thats 4x4 and can take the beating that we do to them.

the old forman, the rear rack was completely trashed, so we made our own, all the plastics were ripped and ended up getting bolted on, the front skid plate got ripped off, the handle bars were bent to hell, just heated them up and bent them back.

it was a 2001 model and had 7500 miles on it, just sold it for 3000
