I just got back from the cities and got some new software. It allows me to 'tweak' my boost, timing, and fuel trim.

I just want to know the pros/cons of changing the timing to a more aggressive setting, and how much outside temp. affects it. Thanks

Too much to type out.

Or just search the 'net and you'll find it there. I think there's a site called "how it works" or somethingh like that, that has some good stuff on it.

Or read Corky Bell's book - that explains it too

The dyno wasn't 'available' when I was there. The shop that has it moved just recently, and it wasn't ready to be used. I'm planning on making another trip up in the near future.

Certain setups will allow more timing and so on. I was pretty conservative with timing on my last tune with a max of 18 degrees @ 30 psi of boost. This was also on 110 octane.

A motor w/ a perfect AFR and too much timing will start to melt stuff.

I would say leave the timing control alone unless you are on a dyno.
