I'd rather have a new one with a warranty for $1000-1200...If you can do $700 I'll come get it though. That's the offer. You have the older version...Amblight(sp?) 2 new is $1400-1500 at best buy.

and Thrash, i've looked at a few projectors including that one...i'll keep it in mind...the room it's in would only be able to have the projector around 8 feet away from the wall. plus screens are spendy too as I'd like to get a fixed one.

It's $899 right now. Screen size is limited only by your room, and it looks great. You will not touch the screen size and clarity of this device for this price point.

Tons of in-depth discussion on avsforum as well.

I don't see the appeal of a used device for $700 when you can get this for $900 (and maybe cheaper if you find a deal.. slickdeals had an infocus 720p setup this week)

It's got HDMI and is a 3LCD unit, so no noisy DLP color wheel.

I bought one to replace my inFocus X1 and it looks great. You can come see it at my house if you're interested. Right now its shooting at a wall as my old 80" screen was 4:3. Also, it's running with digital keystone correction turned on to correct its trapezoidal projection frustrum, as the projector is not ceiling mounted yet.

I haven't built a mount or screen for it since we're moving. Even with the digital resampling involved in keystone correction (which i'll shut off once i can mount it properly in the new house), Xbox 360 and the 720p anime that I watch look fabulous on it.
