<![CDATA[TV repair.]]>My buddy had one of his speakers fall and bump his LG, now there is a big black line going up and down in it, and a couple small lines going across.

Best buy said that it is not covered under warrenty, and that it would be 1800 to replace.

Can something like this be repaired at a TV repair shop, or is it f-d?

I know my 32in lcd developed a line in it and gene's told me the screen would have to be replaced to fix it. so I baught a new one.
