<![CDATA[Are there any good junkyards in the area?]]>Do you guys know of any pick n' pull junkyards or something similar in the area? Are there any self serve junkyards that aren't too far away? I went to a nice one in Winnipeg, but was wondering if there was anything closer. I am always in need of parts and Thieflys and Swindlers are just too expensive here in grand forks. i like wandering junkyards and pulling my own parts. Thanks.

Exspecially at 7th ave, try to talk to scott, he'll hook you up.

Not many people know about them 701-428-3602 (i believe) very reasonable prices too.

They have two yards. They are constantly changing out their cars. They don't have a lot in the yard that you can pick through, because they crush the cars after a couple of weeks or so. I have a huge list of parts I want, i just wish I was closer to self-serve yard. I have a few project cars I want to upgrade/fix, but I don't want to pay the prices they charge locally. For example, my mx-3, I want to put a motor in it from a probe/mx-6, but I would rather pay $200 at a you-pull-it than $500-800 at the local junkyards. If there was a local self-serve junkyard, I would be there at least once a week.

But yea we should buy some mad tite JDM parts.

There are the 2 shitty ones in Fargo, 7th Ave Auto Salvage and Hazers. Each of them blow though
