Its like the big overhead projectors you see that spit out 3 colors, red green and blue (I think).  I have it coming from my DVD player into my TV.  I have never noticed a problem, or a real difference, but I have never used regular hook up with this tv either, so I dont know if there is</p>

<p dir="auto">normal rcas are known as composite video...think about it tho 3 plugs instead of one for just video...of course its gonna be better...but s-video is better than composite tho</p>

<p dir="auto">svideo is fairly good quality, the component video will start to show up on the larger monitors 20 inch is fairly small when talking about things that equipped with component video</p>
