<![CDATA[Dumb question but i'll ask anyway.]]>So I got this tick in my engine that sounds exactly like lifter tick in a dsm. I still haven't torn into the thing so heres a really stupid question... are there the same kind of hydraulic lifters as in the dsm that need to be replaced when sticky, or is it simply a matter of a bottle of seafoam and readjusting the valve lash with a feeler?

Most of the time they only tick when cold too
