X2 I have been to some parties in "da hood", in the Cities. My college roommate was from Minneapolis, and everyone was pretty cool, especially the chicks. It must be like white guys and asian girls. Up here it seems some people start drama just to have drama. We do it here out of boredom I think.

Not that I condone any of the activities mentioned above(drugs, prostitution, robbery,) but its more an understanding of how impoverished communities work together in there given demographic to survive. Not how people who are in dire need of therapy because of how there fucked up Midwest, sub-urbanized, middle class childhood didn't go so well was, and now they've become a complete waste to society.
