yup, belt goes with the cam gear (I had a Z6 cam on a Y8 head with a Y8 cam gear and used a Y8 belt)...your belt OEM brandon? I'm guessing so but idk.

Don't forget John, you need OBD1 injectors as well (i believe?)
Also, you'll want a Y8 timing belt.

no, i mean a wideband. im going to be running a p28 w/ ostrich, and chrome pro. to start, im just going to use a p30 rom with the p28 basemap (p30 has datalogging enabled), but with the little bit higher compression, and the fact that I don't know how much this a6/y8 combo is going to mess with ignition timing, i'd rather know whats up with my a/f ratio. i can tune using knock counts like on the dsm however i have no knock sensor and im not sure if the p28 can be made to read a knock sensor or not.

As for the dizzy, I guess any sohc dizzy will work except the z6 (different bolt pattern), it's just a matter of the wiring. wiring I can do

You need a Y8 housing with Z6 internals im guessing. If you find a Z6 dizzy, i could probly trade you housings cuz i have a y8 but i need the internals( you would have the internals you need with y8 housing). I also have probably most wiring that you need.
