Also we have Direcway satellite internet. It is the most horrible thing on the planet, dont ever get it. Aside from the huge initial cost, it is still expensive. Also it is very very slow and gets worse in inclement weather. It is around 56k on a good day, worse the rest of the time.

Dish you will be able to get for the first ten months for a bout $45 a month with promotions. Then $60 a month for four more months. Only need a year and a half contract. That is for the second to top package. Nothing beats cableone internet in town, so that is a no brainer. Split with roommates price shouldnt be bad.

It's kind of spendy we pay around $50-$55 with renting the wireless modem. We tried quest 5 years ago and it was the worst service ever.

We have dish network for satellite which is included in our rent DVR FTW.

The satellite channels are nearly identical to the cable channels. I have DTV for tv service and cableone for internet. used to have cableone for both, but DTV was a better price and had more HD channels. Tried Qwest, and you couldn't pay me enough to even consider it again....horrible speeds and noone at tech support spoke english to save their lives.
