<![CDATA[DVD+/-R not being recognized by DVD Burner]]>I have a Micro Advantage DVD burner that I got for xmas, every time I put a blank DVD in there it doesn't register (meaning it won't even open up roxio or nero or any other burning software). I can't access the blank media via drag and drop using windows explorer either. When I try and burn using Nero I get an incompatible media message.

What I've tried is updating the firmware drivers, using different media from a different manufacturer, using different formats of media (+ and -) and it still doesn't want to work.

Any suggestions?

Could it be the DVDs your using?
