The only problem is they are in .avi DivX format it looks like. So i guess the question i have is, what program out there will convert numerous files into like .WMV or any other format that Windows Media Player will support.

ps. id like a program that's free and would do several at a time so i don't have to manually do over 200 of them. Thanks a lot.

p.s.s. Jim, show me your Asian computer wisdom plzz.

Are they Xvid encoded files? WMP should play them.

If you can't get them to play in WMP, you won't be able to convert them becuase you don't have the proper codec installed anyway.

http://tversity.com/home

You can use that if you really want to, but its a waste...

Just use WMP 11+ with the proper codecs installed and share to your 360...

So i figure just converting them directly would fix it.

It only works through direct connect mode though and now through media center extender (which I though was extremely retarded).
