2pt doesn't get automatically sent, but if they (insurance company) inquire about it, it will show up on your record.

Depends on if it was in the state you live in first off. State Farm has a 3rd party do random checks on people and if they find something state farm will more than likely try to ding your rates. If it's a first offense maybe not, but I do know 3.5 years ago they found out about my careless/exhibition driving ticket about 2-3 months after I got it and I lost my "good drivers" discount. In fact the discount just got put back on last January.
