I've been pretty much everywhere in all directions, driving and flying. My aunt lives in a smaller town on the ocean in RI, and it honestly is pretty pimp. It wasn't super busy, and was close to Providence and Boston if you want the big city as well. Newport, RI is right there, and has cool shops and awesome food on the piers, etc. I liked it because it was different than the usual beach areas.

Seattle is a little different than most places as well. If you catch nice weather, it's great. My personal favorite ocean spot is in West Port, WA. It's a little more quiet, but once had thriving shops. They are still there, but it's a little less busy now. You can buy a trap on the pier and go fishing right there. And plus, it is/was the home of Bumble Bee Tuna lol. However, if you want something more bustling, there is a tourist town across the inlet. Also, you are close to Vancouver, which is definitely on my list to visit ASAP.

Do you have any ideas as far as what you're looking for? Like I said, I've been to a TON of places in the stats, both driving and flying, so I can probably provide some insight. Wow, that got long.

Seattle is pretty kick ass this time of year, the water front down by Pike Street Market, a must see, is a pretty interesting place as well as the Space needle, which if you have time and a few extra bucks you need to eat there. The drive out is really nice also, once you get into the mountains there's a ton of small towns, old mining communities and such, to stop at for plenty of photo opportunities. Coeur d'Alene is also a great place to stop on your way through Idaho, beautiful city. I've been out to Seattle about 5 times and every time I went I saw something new I didn't see the time before on the drive out there.
Plus some of the areas through the mountains are four lanes wide going both ways, so there's plenty of room to practice ricer lane changes.

I'd have to agree. Perhaps do a trip to Seattle and then head down the western sea board via Highway 101...then when you get near San Diego spend a couple days there enjoying the area. On the way back, I'd suggest a trip through Vegas, Salt Lake City, West Yellowstone, etc.. The scenery is very nice in those areas, and at least at this time of year, you don't need to worry about major snow storms in the Mountains.

im going to a agree and disagree, it really just depends on when you come. most of the places here on the east coast have popular tourist attractions, and are very busy pending which season.

but all in all i depends on where you are. i like it here, and i think you would to derek. the car scene is huge and there is plenty of suby guys here for you to bs with and they are pretty cool along with the evo guys. would you be taking you car?
