Theres bad trucks out there, you make enough your gonna get a bad one.  I would blame most of the transmission trouble on the dealer.  Being a warrantee issue, the entire trans should have been replaced and this problem would have been taken care of.  They did shitty repair work, causing the sprag to go because they didnt fix the problem.  Aside from that, a "reconditioned" trans should have had those parts replaced.<br />
But, tough, one bad report out of the hundreds of praise articles is nothing.  Hell, if it was a toyota they would have bought the POS back before it had a chance to break, lol</p>

I am a very strong believer in chevy automatics.  Then again, I dont deal with anything that has a 4l80.</p>
<p dir="auto">Ive had nothing but great luck with 4l60s, 700r4s, and turbo 350 and 400s.  Meanwhile ive torn out 3 fords.</p>
