Backhoes don't exactly turn on the own very easy.   Most of the time you rotate the turntable in the opposite direction to get them to turn tight.  I put the bucket on the ground and lift the tracks if I am going to turn tight. I would guess if they want to turn they would have to track forward and back at least 5-6 times.</p>
<p dir="auto">ps.  they won't throw a track on flat ground either unless the undercarriage is shot.</p>
