After staring at it for a half hour I figured out how to hook it up but got a few questions still. First what size wiring should I run to it? I used copper 8/3 to test it and not sure if that's correct, as it looks like it was previously hooked up with aluminum 6/3 in the house it was in. And what size breaker should I use? It pops my 30 amp double pull after about 2 mins, bout the time the coils start really heating up. Should I be running a 40 or 50 amp double pull breaker?

Any help would be awesome. Trying my make my garage a little more comfortable to work in.

even if you didnt have a permit pulled or had it inspected your insurance compnay still wouldnt screw you. unless they can prove it was arson. you think people who put their own garbage disposals in are at risk of losing everything because nobody inspected their work? right.

Where did I say no codes????? My wife and I wired my whole house when we built new in Fargo. The only thing we didn't do is the service entrance cable from meter to panel. I did all the plumbing myself too. Am I licensed in ND for either?? No.
