Happened on my way to work Wednesday morning on the I-94 bridge into Fargo. Went to switch lanes when the rear end let loose and ended up doing a 720 into the concrete sidewall (not so much fun at 50mph let me tell you). I was almost surprised the damage didn't end up worse than it did given the rather loud "crunch" when it hit. Thankfully though no one else was involved and that I didn't get injured.

Haven't gotten an estimate on it yet, but I will more than likely part out what I can, sell it, and move onto something better suited to this god forsaken part of the country.

if you want to keep the car, this would be a nice time to do Aluminum radiator and cooling system parts, and an M3 front bumper. I don't think there's a lot of part-out value in a 325 - anyone that has an e36 is going to want M3 parts. And a 325/328 is a $5k car these days.

Based on the front tires, I'm guessing you were running pretty worn out all-seasons.

I bet you could put the front back together for under $1k, not including paint. It looks like the grill trim and front bumper / core support parts are all that you need. Fenders and hood seem ok from the pics.

Add $400 for the blizzaks you should have been running to begin with 🙂

Alternatively, sell it cheap to someone who wants to start an E36 track car. It's a coupe/5speed right? You could get a same-or-newer year A4 for small money these days.

For some reason the Moorhead side of I94 has beem really icey compared to the fargo side the last month or so. Luckily when I went off the interstate at 50 mph I was in my lifted jeep and did no damage.
