<![CDATA[SNES Emulating]]>I downloaded 700+ SNES Roms off limewire. The problem is they don't have a file extension and that is apparently needed for them to work.
My question is, what is the file extension supposed to be?

i used the magic file rename and that worked great, so much better than manually doing it.
it works great on the dreamcast, but i will check out those links to add more roms to my collection.

So if you can't change the file extention, try redownloading the games from the site above.

]]>https://fargostreet.com/post/29333https://fargostreet.com/post/29333Thu, 10 Feb 2005 14:43:45 GMT<![CDATA[Reply to SNES Emulating on Thu, 10 Feb 2005 02:57:05 GMT]]>i think there are a couple of different file formats from the various backup systems (super wild card, pro fighter, MGH, Game Doctor etc.) but the only difference is the header I think. so worst case you might have to look up some old rom tools to get a few to work but smc should work on most. speaking of, does anyone still have an old backup unit? i've still got a Game Doctor and I use it sometimes but waiting for 4 floppies to load each time is a bitch so i mostly use emulator.

I made a disc already with some other ROMS with extensions but they didn't have the same extensions and I didn't want to keep making coasters.

Is there a way to see what files are on a nero cd image?

Just google it they are free to download and there are tons of them. snes9x is my fav though.
