Or i would like a v65 magna because that would be fast but it would also be heavier so i don't know what do to do any suggestions? I was also talking to my dad about getting performance parts for my magna and trying to make it faster but he said no and said leave it stock its worth more so i need to find a cheap bike that i can put money into that will go real fast i have only got my bike up to like 110mph i think because the car i was racing against said i was going that fast my speedometer only goes up to 85 on my magna

As for your V45 there is not much you can do to get more power out of them. You really do not want to run that engine all that hard either because they are known for wearing cam chain tensioners and cam chain guides… So if it rattles on deceleration and idle that’s the problem… Also they did not line bored the cam journals on the 1983 and earlier v45 heads, so they eat up cams and cam journals over time.
