A bunch of the mods/sponsors laid it out to him in the mod forum (in a mature way) that "hey, this is HMT is and if you are going to come up in here and try to change it then all of the members that make this community what it is will leave, and this forum will drop to 0 value in a matter of days" To which he pretty much said, "I don't give a fuck if you are OG/mod/sponsor/etc... this is my forum and if you don't like it you are banned."

Shit has gone so bad over the last day and a half it sounds like xenocron is trying to buy it back from him. Jeff, the original owner/creator of the site, has called the new owner personally and pretty much told him that he had just wasted a large ammount of money, and asked him how much he would be willing to sell it for.

The new owner, who has realized that buying this was a huge mistake, has pretty much said that he will not be selling the site and if shit keeps up the way that it is he'll just shut the place down, delete all the backups, and call it a loss just to piss off the 20,000+ members.

What he doesn't know is that Jeff (site creator) has backups up until a year ago, Xenocron has backups up until a few months ago, and various mods have backups up until a few months ago.
