Jolien Schwan said Thursday that it was frustrating to be stuck in her Eagle Run home for several days when she knew others in the area were getting out and about.
Schwan, who couldn’t get to her job Tuesday or Wednesday, was able to leave her home after her street was opened at 9:30 a.m. Thursday.
She said her husband, Chuck, was even more upset than she was about the time it took the city to clear snow, and she said he let city officials know.
“My husband called three times yesterday and once this morning, and he sent an e-mail to the mayor this morning,” Schwan said.

Wouldn't have done a bit of good, I needed hard copy blue prints that were in the design room at work.

Everything else is already done, I can access everything I need except for stuff that is not in data form.

Oh...and the article comes off the wrong way a bit as well. It sounds like we are complaining about being the last neighborhood to be cleaned, which we weren't (at least Jolien and I weren't), we were just frustrated that literally every street in our neighborhood was cleaned except ours.

I let my neighbor try that...he wasn't very successful. We also tried using multiple snow blowers/shovels to dig ourselves out. Again no success.
