When I start my computer it goes to the login screen like normal (windows xp)... i've tried logging in under my user and the guest, but what happens is it'll start to log in, then 2 sec later it will say logging off and go back to the login screen... Is there anyway to get around this, so I can at least backup all the stuff saved on the computer...

Good luck

Yup... or yank the HD out of it and put it in another computer.

If it's a SATA drive it will plug right in to a desktop; if its a 2.5inch IDE drive, you may need an adapter...
