the depth from front to back is 21". that dimension is not shown. also, the 12" dimension is the main seat pad where the backrest and the bottom mate together. the main seat pad flares out at the end to 15". if you have any other questions let me know

There is a very small hole on the drivers side (a third of the diameter of a pencil) and the cover over the reclining spring is half broken off (shipped that way). other than that, there are no other defects other than being a little dusty from sitting in the garage.
