<![CDATA[95 Civic Ex Coupe]]>I am selling my civic. I will have pics up and the vin up tomorrow. It needs paint on the front fenders and bumper due to my accident. It has been repaired except paint. I have all the papers and such. Runs and drives great.

It has 12x,xxx miles on it.

Redlining 3rd grd gear -> 2nd gear = >7200 redline for sure, no matter if it was for a second or whatever.

If you want I can find a video where a guy in an integra does the same shit and his motor just sounds like there marbles everywhere.

Regardless, this is supposed to be a classified ad. It's going to be up to the individual buyer to determine if the car is a good buy or not.

I dont beleive that it went that high due to the fact that the gears do not have a difference of over 3000 rpm like torbs is basically saying. there is only a difference of about 1500

riiiiiiiiiight.......no, but w/e u believe......i just know that the tach was past 9k and it was there for 1-2 seconds...weather you let out the clutch all the way or not at that time doesnt matter, what matters is that it did go over 9k for 1-2 seconds

7300 RPM in 3rd + misshift in 2nd gear > 8500RPM.......and yes u did let the clutch all the way out and it was out for at least 1-2 seconds and the tach went passed it's max point...i kno because i was there when it happened...im not tryin to slam u or anything, but dont lie about what happened, just be straight up, thats all anybody asks for...peace

Any car can rev past the rev limiter. Just because the rev limiter stops actually making the engine fire, doesn't mean it can't physically rev higher than that. I've seen a few cars mis shift like what was talked about earlier, and they end up revving so high that the valves float and get bent (right GSR LOL!), or even destroy the pistons and head also.

For example an attempted shift from 3rd to 4th at 7,500 that ended up in 2nd...nuff said...sell it to some dumb kid that would buy a purple civic.
