<p dir="auto">Redlining 3rd grd gear -&gt; 2nd gear = &gt;7200 redline for sure, no matter if it was for a second or whatever.</p>
<p dir="auto">If you want I can find a video where a guy in an integra does the same shit and his motor just sounds like there marbles everywhere.</p>
<p dir="auto">Regardless, this is supposed to be a classified ad.  It's going to be up to the individual buyer to determine if the car is a good buy or not.</p>

I dont beleive that it went that high due to the fact that the gears do not have a difference of over 3000 rpm like torbs is basically saying.  there is only a difference of about 1500</p>

<p dir="auto">Any car can rev past the rev limiter.  Just because the rev limiter stops actually making the engine fire, doesn't mean it can't physically rev higher than that.  I've seen a few cars mis shift like what was talked about earlier, and they end up revving so high that the valves float and get bent (right GSR LOL!), or even destroy the pistons and head also.</p>
