Except NO ONE is expecting him to be a top drafted QB like Leaf was. I'd compare him more to another Heisman and National Championship QB from Florida....Danny Weurfel. He was huge at Florida but did exactly nothing in the NFL. Look at the list of Heisman QBs since 1990 and see how many have had succesful NFL careers. I count 1 (Carson Palmer). College success doesn't mean anything to NFL scouts.

FYI, Tebow gets the word by helmet what receiver to goto prior to the snap.

No way in hell he'll be able to project an NFL defense, especially when he'll have to start taking snaps under center.

Dense? Ouch. They don't run the triple offense in the NFL Heath. There is no way he gets drafted as a top QB. He wasn't even projected to go in the first 3 rounds this year if he left early. He's NOT an NFL quarterback, regardless of what he does in college.

Best football take I've heard from you yet.

I think our boring offense will work in Favre's favor actually. He just needs to be a threat. He's never had a running game or defense like we've had. I think thats why he is such a "gunslinger". The decision making and the ability to check all of his reads will be the most beneficial. Numerous times last year there were plays "left on the field" by our QBs.
