There's aren't really contests, more like track days. As for drifting, I don't know of anyone around here that drifts regularly, the only guy I knew that did has moved to Japan.

See there is a problem here. It does not fit the definition of "Drifting". Its just power sliding.

Drifting by definition is maintaining a slide, not sliding tell you run out of momentum.
