The surround is separated from the basket about a 1/4 to 1/2 way around the sub, so.
Is there any way you can repair a rubber surround on a sub woofer or is it better off to just retire them?
I've done a repair on a small rip, damn screwdriver, before with some black rtv on a, long since gone, 12" of my own and it seemed to hold up pretty good but these Memphis ones are pretty FUBAR. I'm pretty much thinking there dumpster fodder but the owner was wondering if it's possible to fix them so I thought I'd ask the resident audio guru what he thought.
