<![CDATA[2006 Yamaha R1 for sale, check it out.]]>Time is here to sell this bike, although I'd love to keep it because I love it. Only reason for selling is I bought the 09 R1. The bike has 4670 miles on it, all of 1300 were put on by me. I bought the bike 1 year old from a guy in MN close to Minneapolis. This bike has never been crashed or wrecked. I took all the body work off of it and had it painted flat white because I was tired of seeing all black bikes all the time. It has a fresh oil change and is ready to ride. Here are the mods:
Gregg's Customs flush mount blinkers
Custom LED tail light integrator
Custom LED flasher relay
Graves license plate bracket
Zero Gravity smoked windscreen
Galfer stainless steel braided brake lines in black
All powdercoating was done by Dan @ Elite Powdercoating here in Fargo:
Front and rear wheels in gold (new OEM wheel bearings installed)
Center of front and rear brake rotors in gold
Rear sprocket in gold
Clutch and brake lever in satin black
Driver and passenger foot pegs/brackets, brake lever, shifter, etc all in satin black
Gas cap in satin black
Michelin Pilot power rear tire with about 1000 miles on it
Paint and clear coat is all Dupont, I have a little touch up paint to go with the bike
I have a rear seat cowl that is painted to match the bike, and will go with, it looks awesome on the bike, but the fit and finish isn't very good, so its free
There is a spare windscreen thats painted white to go with it
Stock brake lines and front blinkers will go with it
I have one key for the bike, and the owners manual, but no OEM tool kit
Price is going to be exactly what NADA says its worth stock, $7895 OBO, not really interested in trades unless its going to make a bunch more money somehow.
I have a few other aftermarket parts off of this bike that could also be purchased w/ the bike if someone is seriously interested.

I was informed that some people can run just comp in the winter since collision isn't needed. I'm going to look into this more. I would at least keep comp on it anyway just in case it ever got tipped over in the garage some how.
