<![CDATA[Internet/Cable/Satalite...what do you use?]]>I have cable one right now, but I'm seeing who else I should check with to get a good deal on anything else.

I am looking for and HD recorder, most channels (minus the movie channels) and then some sort of hight speed internet.

I know some people bundle with verizon. I have verizon so that should work out.

Who do you use?

Its a contract with the city of Fargo to use the infrastructure.

And I think the contract was renewed a couple years ago (before MidCo started pursuing the area) and it'll be a few years before it opens up again.

It's not showing the promotional price if you go through the forms on their site and put in your address etc...but that looks like what I might just try. Been without cable for over a month now.

adding to this, my friend has a bluray receiver that streams netflix, youtube, and a couple of other video things. it's something from the lg bd series.

15 mbps speed vs 5 mbps speed

$89 for 6 months, plus when it goes to regular price, it is still $30 cheaper per month for the same thing at cable one.

unless you are addicted to live sports, i don't see the draw of TV. anything you want can be had at the library on dvd, on netflix, or on bittorrent.

i have been pleased with dsl, it's up 99+% with consistent up/down speeds and latency.
