For those of you that don't know, global market stability greatly effect our own. Also, as stated: lending this money earns our country intrest and does not stop money lending to US citizens.

You did not listen. No one <u>gave</u> money away. They loaned money to other countries banks, who loaned it to smaller banks who made their usual loans with it.

The person in New Zealand who qualifies for 3000$ gets the loan. If you go to a bank and qualify, you can get $3000 too. Then you and the guy in New Zealand can both pay interest on the loans, but only the New Zealander is paying our government interest for sure. You might just be paying the bank.
