The reason the taurus is so slow has got to be down to its weight, and perhaps driveline inefficiency. But i'm guessing weight. the 0-60 time of that thing is awful given how much power it has [and that it is allegedly AWD]. It's braking, skidpad, and slalom all suck, also indicative of high weight.

Must I say more??? The ford taurus is an inferior car to allllll Sports sedans in this segments. Infiniti, Lexus, BMW, Mercedes, audi.... they all leave ford in the dust.
